The club organises several Club Teams that participate in regional competitions throughout Ayrshire and beyond. If you're keen on becoming part of these teams, you can submit your interest by emailing our Match Secretary. This is a great way to meet other members, play other courses and get involved with representing the club.

Scratch Team

Team Captain: Kevin Thomas

Our Scratch Team is a participant in the Ayrshire Leagues affiliated with the Ayrshire Golf Association. The team consists exclusively of category one golfers. From the pool of players available, a team of six is carefully chosen to represent the club in both home and away matches that take place during the summer months, usually spanning from May to August.

In addition to our league engagements, the Scratch Team takes part in a knockout competition with a four-man team. This competition format involves two singles matches and one foursome match from the four-person team.

One of the significant highlights for the Scratch Team is the Ayrshire Stroke Play event. In this competition, a three-member team steps up to compete. This team traditionally comprises the Club Champion, the Stroke Play Champion, and a selection made by the Scratch Team Captain.

Handicap Team

Our Handicap Team is a participant in the Ayrshire Leagues affiliated with the Ayrshire Golf Association. Any member of our club can apply to be considered for the Handicap Team. From the pool of players available, a team of six is carefully chosen to represent the club in both home and away matches that take place during the summer months, usually spanning from April to August.

One of the significant highlights for the Handicap Team is the President's Putter competition. In this competition, a four-member team steps up to compete. Two of the team will enter in a Four Ball game and the other two members will enter into singles matches. This is a great way to meet other members, play other courses and get involved with representing the club.

Seniors Team

Team Captain: Sandy Currie

Our Seniors Team participates in a Seniors Golf League playing other clubs across Ayrshire. It is open to any member over the age of fifty.
